It is expensive to provide hospital care for a patient. We have to buy medicines, food, and modern equipment and instruments for more efficient and accurate diagnosis and treatment. The laundry of the linen you use has to be paid for. We need funds for hospital supplies, building maintenance, repair and construction; we pay electric and water bills, taxes and other fees. The hospital payroll takes a large part of the hospital income. This is all because we want to give you the best medical care.

If you find our rates a little expensive, you can be sure that it is because you are receiving the highest level of healthcare in the region. More people attend to you here who are ready to run to your side and help you at a moment's notice (just by pressing your call switch). We have specialists on our regular staff to attend to you in addition to our resident doctors. More highly complicated apparatus and instruments are available at Lorma, so that we can improve your prospects for a speedy recovery. 

Your company may have arrangements with Lorma Hospital regarding its employees' hospitalization and medical care. Please inform and/or inquire from your admitting personnel the extent of your medical coverage and benefits. There are special packages we offer.

We would, therefore, need a payment for services already rendered as soon as you can after admission. You may give this to the cashier's office. During your stay we shall ask you to give certain payments, depending upon your illness and upon the cost of medicines and other materials you use. This way it will be easier for you to pay your total bill. The hospital's computerized billing system can give you an up-to-date balance at any time between 8 A.M. and 6 P.M. You may also get your bill 24 hours at the computer in the hospital lobby. If your stay is short and your bill seems high that is because the cost of the laboratory, X-ray and medicines are prescribed early in your confinement.

To ensure the potency and quality medicines, the hospital purchases them directly from the manufacturer. Since the hospital cannot guarantee the safety and efficacy of medications acquired by others, it may refuse to administer any medication not supplied or authenticated by the hospital pharmacy. We use only the best available medicines and while they are expensive they help you along to a rapid recovery. Our statistics show that the average length of stay at Lorma is much shorter than at most hospitals. Thus, while the cost per day might seem high, the total cost of hospitalization is reasonable at today's prices. We require patients to pay their bills in full before discharge. If you require charity discounts you must inform the billing office upon admission.

Present your Lorma Golden Health Card prior to paying for your bill to avail of discounts and specials. If you don’t have a Golden Health Card, please inquire with the billing office to see how you can get one.

Lorma Medical Center accepts all major credit cards for payment of hospital bills
(except for doctor's professional fees).


Lorma Medical Center has two ATM machines on its premises for the convenience of our patients. The machine are located along the covered walkway to the Lorma Colleges near the hospital West Entrance.


Special discounts for Senior citizens and GSIS members are available only for cash payments.
