and can heal sick patients” – Last March I came here for check-up. I was then
referred to Dr. Espinosa so I went to his clinic. He sent me back here for EEG.
The staff downstairs at the front office did the EEG for me right away so I had
the time to go back to Dr. Espinosa who interpreted the result. It was done so
fast that we had the time to go back to Ilocos that same day. I thank the staff
very much. To Lorma as a whole, thank you so much and may God bless you all. All
the staff and employees of Lorma Hospital are very friendly. I’m very glad to

San Fernando, La Union, July 7, 2009 — Lorma Medical Center, represented by its Executive Vice President, Mr. Robert F. Kaiser, Jr., and Pioneer Life, Incorporated, represented by Vice President and Head of Operations, Ms. Barbara J. Furagganan, signed a Memorandum of Agreement at Lorma’s Helipad Conference Room.
Pioneer Life, a Makati-based private insurance corporation, requires medical checkup and clearance for its clients and will refer them to Lorma Medical Center, where laboratory exams and ancillary procedures will be provided, and physical examinations will be conducted by accredited doctors. Three Lorma physicians are accredited as Medical Examiners for Pioneer: Dr. Vicky Ann S. Bautista, Head of Poison Center, Dr. Nelson M. Gundran, Senior Staff Physician, and Dr. Ma. Teresa V. Orlino, Head of TB DOTS. The physicians were given orientation on how to handle Pioneer clients during the Lorma-Pioneer breakfast meeting.
Dr. Roland Stephen T. Cua, Pioneer’s Medical Director believes a partnership with Lorma Medical Center will safeguard the integrity of their clients’ screening process.
